On 20th October 2010 in Glavinci the library was reopened. On that occasion Miroslav Cvijetic, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the Town of Jagodina and an agronomist addressed the meeting and declared the library open. Also, Nevenka Petronijevic, Director of the Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises and Registered Agricultural Households addressed the meeting. She informed the participants thoroughly about the work of the Agency,as well as the benefits, subsidies, grant funds that the state provides to farmers.She also talked about current vacancies in agriculture and investment opportunities. Participants were informed about the registration of their households, and potential benefits of presenting farmers in that way.This was followed by the lecture on organic production which was given by Ana Pantic-Ilic, a chemist.The lecture contained all the important information on organic production, and it was backed up with two video stories about people who are already successfully engaged in organic production.
After the lecture, there was an intense and lively discussion. The farmers talked to the representative of local self-government and the representative of the Agency.The questions of the farmers were mostly related to what actions the state will take in the future to improve the conditions in agriculture and status of farmers.
